Physics Building - Localized Power Outage

Work Alert Notification

Dear Members of the UAlbany Community,

Please be advised of the following work alert for the Physics building for work requiring a localized area power outage.  This work will start Friday, February 14th, at 5:00 AM and end at 6:00 AM (1 hour duration).  

The date, time, duration and impacts of these local outages are summarized as follows:

Friday morning, February 14th starting at 5AM & ending by 6AM (1 hour duration) the following electrical panels on the West side of Physics will be shut down:
•    panel AP-P-1A (1st floor) - feeding electrical receptacles in rooms:  108, 122, 123, 125, 126, 129

•    panel AP-P-2A (2nd floor) - feeding electrical receptacles in rooms:  209, 210, 211, 212, 221, 225, 226, 227, 228, 229

•    panel AP-P-3A (3rd floor) - feeding electrical receptacles in rooms:  310, 311, 312, 313, 321, 324, 325, 326, 327, 328

The fire alarm and emergency lighting systems will remain in service during this outage.  Room lighting will also remain in service during this outage.

Please shutdown any sensitive electronic devices such as computers at end of your work shift.

  • Interruption of electrical Power to receptacles in rooms on the 1st, 2nd & 3rd floors of the west side of the Physics building.
