How Do Dual Admissions Programs Work?

Through the dual admissions program, you can start your college journey at one of UAlbany’s participating community college partners while preparing to transfer to UAlbany.

You’ll work toward an eligible associate degree at your community college and follow an academic pathway that aligns with a UAlbany bachelor’s degree program. Along the way, you may have access to UAlbany advisors, events and resources that help you feel connected before you officially transfer.

Once you complete your associate degree, meet the required GPA and satisfy any program-specific requirements, your eligible credits can transfer toward your bachelor’s degree at UAlbany.
