  • If you’re a SUNY FMCC student who has not completed an articulated transfer pathway or  would like to pursue an alternative major option at UAlbany, you’ll be admitted to UAlbany as declared into your major of interest, provided all program admissions requirements are met.
  • Transfer credits will be granted for courses in which you achieve a grade of C- or better. Note that credits transfer, but grades and GPA do not transfer.

*Whenever possible, your progress will not be affected by revised curricular requirements at UAlbany.

**In extenuating circumstances, exceptions to continuous attendance may be made, but a period of non-attendance should not exceed one semester and the student in this circumstance must complete the SUNY FMCC degree within six semesters of first attending SUNY FMCC. Exceptions may be limited by accreditation, certification, licensure, or special department requirements.  UAlbany’s academic departments will periodically contact jointly admitted students to afford them opportunities to meet faculty and students, participate in departmental activities and, in general, become familiar with UAlbany.
