Eva Rojas is a dedicated higher education leader with over 20 years of experience supporting students and families with disabilities. A proud graduate of John Jay College, Eva is passionate about creating equitable learning environments and believes that students and their families are pivotal partners in academic success.
Her work centers on fostering self-advocacy and achievement through a strengths-based approach. Eva collaborates closely with UAlbany faculty and staff to ensure students registered with Disability Access and Inclusion Student Services (DAISS) have access to the structured supports and resources they need to succeed.
Eva’s professional dedication is profoundly shaped by her personal experience as a parent to a daughter with a significant disability. This journey has given her a profound understanding of the challenges faced by individuals with disabilities. It continues to drive her commitment to access, inclusion and systemic change in higher education.
As Assistant Dean of DAISS, Eva brings leadership, compassion and a collaborative mindset to her work building an inclusive and accessible campus community where all students can thrive.
