Office of the Dean of Students

Looking for Resources? We’re Here to Help

The Office of the Dean of Students (DOS) serves as a central resource for students, families, faculty and staff. We work with campus and community partners to:

  • support student success
  • cultivate a diverse and inclusive campus culture
  • encourage student self-advocacy

Our office works directly with students to assist them with various concerns and connect them with appropriate campus resources. If you need help but don’t know where to start, contact us

However, if you have a grievance with another University office or department, we suggest you communicate with that unit directly to remedy the situation.

Our specialty is helping campus community members navigate tough issues and build a more connected, engaged UAlbany. Check out our Mission & Priorities.
