Clinical Volunteer Opportunities
The Psychological Services Center is seeking a University at Albany student to fill the role of Student Assistant at the Psychological Services Center associated with the University at Albany, which is a community mental health clinic.
The position involves working as a receptionist/part-time childcare assistant, as well as some general office work (e.g., filing, photocopying). This student will interact with children, young adults while parent and guardian meets with their counselor. This student will have the opportunity to help staff the office, welcoming clients in a friendly and professional manner both in person and with calls; taking payments; as well as other office tasks, including some that may involve Word, Excel and Titanium Scheduler, and more as the student demonstrates adeptness.
