Please be advised of the following work occurring on the Uptown Campus in Catskill and Arts & Sciences. This work is necessary to repair and restore the podium canopy on the north side of the buildings. During this time, work may result in construction noise and debris.
Work is expected to begin on Monday, August 10, 2026 at 6:00 AM and is expected to be completed by Friday, November 13, 2026 at 5:00 PM.

Critical Work Description or Scope:
The work includes concrete removal and patching, abatement of joint sealants, and application of stain & sealers. Removal (spot demolition) will begin on Monday 8/10 and continue to approximately 8/21. Abatement work will begin on 8/17 or 8/31 and continue for two weeks with a pause in work during the first week of classes. The repair work (filling in the patches) will continue through the Fall semester. Occupants in Catskill and Arts & Sciences in rooms facing the north are requested to keep the windows closed through Friday, September 18, 2026.
