The University provides web templates that meet many standard accessibility requirements. Site editors need to make sure the content they add to those templates conforms to Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Conformance Level AA guidelines.
Anyone who creates content, documents and/or videos that are posted on a UAlbany website should review Web Services’ web accessibility training options and accessibility checklists for webpages and web documents.
Social Media Content
Each social media platform has different accessibility features and limitations. Check with each individual platform to review their accessibility resources and most up-to-date capabilities.
Any who creates social media content for University-affiliated accounts should review the Office of Communications and Marketing’s social media accessibility guide, which covers universal best practices for social media.
