Various Buildings - Service Interruption for Required Maintenance

Work Alert Notification

Dear Members of the UAlbany Community,

Please be advised of the following work occurring on the Uptown Campus. This work is necessary to support the maintenance of the high temperature hot water system. During this time work may result in the loss of heating and hot water across campus (notes below identify specific buildings). 
Work is expected to begin on Sunday, May 18, 2025 at 8:00 PM and is expected to be completed by Sunday, June 1, 2025 at 8:00 PM. 
During this timeframe expect minimal heating and air conditioning service on the Uptown Campus buildings, excluding areas serviced by local systems. Air conditioning will diminish if the temperatures reach the 90's during this shutdown. In addition, domestic hot water will not be available during this time except in areas serviced by local systems.  
Buildings with local systems include ITB, Broadview, Boor Sculpture Studio, Freedom, Empire Commons, and Liberty Terrance. State and Indigenous dining halls will have domestic hot water.
