Collaborating Institutions

The Center for Biophotonic Technology and Artificial Intelligence (CeBAI) represents a close scientific collaboration that connects researchers from three countries to advance cutting-edge optical technologies.

CeBAI is a joint effort between:

  • The University at Albany, State University of New York, in the United States (CeBAI Director and Distinguished Professor Igor Lednev)
  • The Leibniz Institute of Photonic Technology in Jena, Germany (Director and Professor Jürgen Popp)
  • The Institute for Molecular Science and Fusion Technology at Kangwon National University in Gangwon, South Korea (Director and Professor Young Mee Jung)
