CNSE Hosts Hands-On Energy Storage Training

ALBANY, N.Y. (May 26, 2026) — The College of Nanotechnology, Science, and Engineering at UAlbany recently hosted a free, two-week, hands-on training program for college students, recent graduates and individuals seeking careers in energy storage, batteries and clean energy.
The workshop, held May 11-22, focused on energy storage technologies, lithium-ion batteries and clean energy applications and was sponsored by the NYS Energy Research and Development Authority, NextEra Energy Resources and UAlbany.
The program's first week took place at the NY Creates Albany NanoTech Complex and the second week was held on UAlbany's Uptown campus in the Physics Department labs.
