ALBANY, N.Y. (Dec. 20, 2022) — The planning to reintegrate the College of Nanoscale Science and Engineering into the University at Albany is underway, and the University has established a webpage to provide official updates on the status of the transition.

As President Rodríguez noted in his message to the campus last week, SUNY has charged UAlbany and SUNY Polytechnic Institute with working collaboratively to develop a master plan for the transition no later than December 2023.

While many of the detailed questions about the transition will be answered in the coming months as part of this planning process, the transition page includes several frequently asked questions about what action the SUNY Board of Trustees has taken to date, as well as the next steps in the process.
