An Uplifting Journey for Graduate Student Erica Graham
Graduate student Erica Graham has charted a distinctive course as she nears completion of her doctorate in nanoengineering. As a student of both the University at Albany and SUNY Polytechnic Institute, Graham's status provided her with the opportunity to study the advance field of silicon photonics, while also co-founding UAlbany's Graduate Students of Color Organization. Through this organization, Graham has helped address issues such as underrepresentation in various graduate programs while providing a supportive environment for her fellow students.
