A School of Ed Prof Gets Major Federal Support to Boost the Academics of Incoming Students
Heidi Andrade of Educational & Counseling Psychology and Jason Bryer PhD ’14 seven years ago led their research team to create Diagnostic Assessment and Achievement of College Skills (DAACS), a suite of technological and social supports to optimize learning for incoming college students. It has just received a $3.8 million grant from the U.S. Department of Education.
