Project to Improve Gender Equity in STEM Makes Strides in First Year
UAlbany’s project to recruit and retain women and women of color in the STEM fields has already resulted in nearly a dozen grants, awards and funding for postdoc visits – all in the first year.

Student Researchers Aided by CURCE Funding
Nineteen students received small grants last fall to offset expenses directly related to their research or creative projects with University faculty, including attending conferences, purchasing materials and covering tuition for related course work. Spring recipients will be announced next week.
