Zhongwen Liang is an associate professor of economics at University at Albany, SUNY. His research focuses on developing new econometric tools including nonparametric/semiparametric methods, functional data analysis and machine learning to handle the estimation and statistical inference for the economic analysis in data-rich environments. He teaches graduate level econometric theory and time series analysis and forecasting and undergraduate applied econometrics.
