In 2019, the Microwave Remote Sensing Lab took part in NASA-funded programs and projects, published research and received recognition for its work.
 

November

Funded by NASA's Lunar Data Analysis Program, we at University at Albany's Electrical and Computer Engineering department, will study microwave remote sensing of lunar regolith and bedrock. Please see the abstract of our project here.

Professor Aksoy has been selected through the agency’s Space Technology Research Grants program as part of a prestigious group of nine researchers to lend their expertise and help identify and improve NASA’s current technological capabilities.
