Dr. Dola Saha is an Associate Professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University at Albany and a co-director of the Mobile Emerging Systems and Applications (MESA) Lab. She comes to us from her positions at the Wireless Information Network Laboratory (WINLAB) and Department of Electrical & Computer Engineering at Rutgers University. In addition to an active research agenda, Dr. Saha is a faculty advisor for UAlbany's student chapter of the Association for Computing Machinery-Women (ACM-W) and participates in publicly engaged activities which encourage young women in STEM.
Research Interests
Dr. Saha’s research lies in the crossroads of Wireless Communication, Wireless Signal Processing, Machine Learning in Wireless Communication, Wireless Networks and Architecture of Software Defined Radios with focus on systems design and practical evaluation. These include areas such as Cloud RAN, Drone Communication, IoT, 5G and Beyond Wireless Communication, Coexistence of Networks, Localization.
