About

Keegan is an impassioned business leader, health and health care leader, constantly challenging the status-quo to promote business value, and improve outcomes. He is a caring leader that believes that people are the engines of great companies. Recently, he has been instrumental in building one of the largest and diverse data, technology and analytic assets in health care in the greater Capital Region of New York, as the Chief Executive of Acuitas Health.

Keegan boasts diverse national expertise in business leadership and strategy, value-driven health, health systems design, health economics and insurance, advanced analytics, health information technology, and health services research and policy for hospitals, public health, health systems, large physician groups, and federal and state government. A proven thought leader and pioneer, Keegan developed one of the earliest and largest investments in health care re-design and technology in the nation for the state of New York. He also founded a successful leadership and strategy consultancy, Navaste Health working with leading companies in the industry.

Beyond his passion for transforming the health care landscape, Keegan is also passionate about food in business, and in community giving. In May 2019 Keegan and his wife Ilene founded Send Me Waffles, a food business based in Clifton Park. Keegan and Ilene are also supporters of the Regional Food Bank for Northeastern New York.

Keegan holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Binghamton University, and a MS in Health Policy and Management from the University at Albany College of Integrated Health Sciences. He holds a certificate in Value Measure Measurement for Health Care from Harvard Business School, and is appointed Clinical Assistant Professor at the University at Albany College of Integrated Health Sciences. Keegan has published substantially on health and health care topics, and achieved national recognition for his work.
