Dr. Blanca M. Ramos is an Associate Professor in the School of Social Welfare with a joint appointment in the Department of Latin American and Caribbean Studies at the University at Albany. Dr. Ramos is a recognized publically engaged community leader and scholar. She has served on a variety of local, regional, national, and international boards and commissions. Her international activities include research and partnership building with higher education institutions and communities in Mexico, Costa Rica, and Peru.
