About
I am an implementation scientist with interdisciplinary training in social work, public health, and psychology. My implementation science work focuses on changing systems—not individuals—so that evidence-based care is accessible to the people who need it most. I conduct implementation science research focused on gender-affirming care and sexual and gender minority health, with particular attention to how stigma and structural inequities shape access to evidence-based care.
I study how health care, public health, and community-based organizations adopt, implement, and sustain evidence-based practices in real-world settings. Using implementation science frameworks and mixed-methods designs, I identify barriers and facilitators to change and develop practical strategies that strengthen equity, trust, and patient-centered care.
My work is grounded in long-standing partnerships with community-based organizations and health centers and is guided by a trauma-informed, community-engaged approach. Across projects, I aim to generate research that is actionable for providers and systems, responsive to community priorities, and designed to improve health outcomes for populations disproportionately affected by barriers to care.
Areas of Expertise:

Research Interests
My research applies implementation science to improve how health care, public health and community-based systems deliver evidence-based, patient-centered care. This includes work in gender-affirming care delivery and sexual and gender minority health. I examine how stigma, trauma, and structural inequities shape the adoption and sustainment of best practices, and I partner with organizations to design strategies that strengthen equity, trust and long-term impact.
