Kirk Harbinger
About

Kirk spent over six years at his alma mater, Ithaca College, focused on advancement, alumni engagement, and development with alumni, parents, and students.  He returned to IC after a term as President of the Alumni Board. 
 
He has been a development officer, manager, consultant, executive, and business partner in multiple industries. Kirk has led corporate implementation projects in Learning Management, CRM, and ERP Systems, as well as spearheaded Change Management initiatives and employee training programs.
 
Kirk has worked directly with Fortune 500 companies on best practices in workplace learning and has managed collaborations, benchmarking, and learning technology experiments. He has been selected multiple times to lead conference sessions on Training, e-Learning and Social Media.
 
He is also an NCAA basketball and soccer referee, foster parent, and was honored as "Volunteer of the Year" for CAPTAIN Youth and Family Services in Saratoga County, NY.  Kirk enjoys fitness and running with his family dog, who was adopted from the shelter.  His daughter, Kendra (Biology ’21), is a two-sport athlete on the UAlbany lacrosse and soccer teams and was selected as America East Women’s Lacrosse “Rookie of the Year” as well as UAlbany Sports “Women’s Rookie Athlete of the Year.”
