Jaclyn Amoroso

Degrees: MA in English, The College of Saint Rose 

Brief Bio: Jaclyn has been a full-time lecturer with the Writing and Critical Inquiry Program since 2013. She has a Master’s Degree in English from The College of Saint Rose and worked at that institution for several years as the Director of the Writing Center. Her goal as a teacher is to encourage sustained reflection and inquiry in her WCI students as they attempt to make sense of their own experiences and the world around them in their writing and research. Jaclyn also currently serves as the Co-Director of the WCI Peer Mentor Program, where she works closely with former WCI students in developing leadership and communication skills to use in their work helping first-year students adjust to the academic expectations of college-level writing, research, reading, and inquiry.
