About
Sherry Faye, PhD, has served on the faculty of the School of Public Health at the University at Albany since 2019. She began her collegiate education by earning a B.S. in physics from SUNY Oswego, then continued her studies at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, earning her M.S. in health physics and Ph.D. in radiochemistry. Dr. Faye completed her postdoctoral studies at the University of California, Berkeley and Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory. Her current research focuses on radioanalytical method development for rapid strontium analysis and detection of actinides by alpha spectrometry.
