About
Dr. Battles is a clinical associate professor in the Department of Health Behavior and Management. Her current primary appointment is Assistant Director of the Bureau of Chronic Disease Evaluation and Research at the New York State Department of Health. Her work has focused on public health surveillance, program evaluation and performance measurement related to public health laws, policies and systems/structural interventions, primarily in the areas of risk factors and outcomes associated with chronic disease and HIV.
