About UAlbany’s Partnership with the Ramaiah Institute of Science and Management

The University at Albany is expanding its global impact in India through a knowledge partnership with the Ramaiah Institute of Science and Management (RISM), a new skill-focused university in Bengaluru designed around outcome-based education, translational research and workforce-aligned learning.  

Through the one-of-a-kind partnership, UAlbany will provide guidance and consultation on curriculum and faculty development as RISM develops academic programs and research opportunities in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM), as well as management.
