Overview

Funder is looking to support promising young faculty members in the early stages of their careers in the chemical and life sciences to foster the invention of methods, instruments, and materials that will open up new avenues of science research. Projects should represent a departure from current research directions rather than extending or expanding existing programs.

Important Information

Eligibility requires that an applicant must be within the first four years of a tenure-track position.

The funder has a policy that indirect costs are not allowed.

Process

This is a two-step application process:

• The Letter of Intent (LOI/step 1) is managed by the Office of Corporate and Foundation Relations.

• Submit the completed LOI worksheet by July 24, 2026.
  If invited to submit a full proposal (step 2), it will be managed by the Sponsored Programs Administration (SPA).
