Performing Arts Center Closed

The Performing Arts Center will remain closed through the weekend as we continue the clean-up from the small electrical fire that occurred there Tuesday morning. 

All classes scheduled to meet in the PAC have been assigned alternate locations for the remainder in the week. Students should reach out to their instructors with any questions as the alternate locations will not be reflected on their schedules.

The New York State Writers Institute event with author Julia Alvarez will proceed as scheduled at 4:30 p.m. Thursday in a new location – the Campus Center West Addition.

First update: 7:46 p.m., April 16 2024

The Performing Arts Center will remain closed Wednesday, April 17. All classes scheduled for the PAC on Wednesday have been assigned alternate locations.

Instructors will be receiving information about alternate class locations and should share that information directly with their students. Students with questions should reach out to their instructors.

A decision about classes and PAC events on Thursday will be communicated on Wednesday.

The Performing Arts Center will be closed for the remainder of Tuesday, April 16, following a small electrical fire in the building Tuesday morning..

Facilities is working to reset the alarm system and clear the odor from the building.
