About

Kyle Coniglio's studio practice centers on figurative painting and explores intimacy, queer identity, and lived experience through sustained engagement with observation, memory, and art historical reference.

His work has been exhibited widely in solo and group exhibitions in the United States and internationally, including recent and forthcoming solo presentations with Richard Heller Gallery (Los Angeles), Taymour Grahne Projects (London), Louis Buhl Gallery (Detroit) and Capsule Gallery (Shanghai).

He has been a fellow of the Queer Art Mentorship, an affiliated fellow of the American Academy in Rome via the Al Held Foundation and has been featured in New American Paintings, Juxtapoz, and the TalkArt podcast as well as other media outlets. Coniglio lives and works in the Hudson Valley.
