Ellie Salvino, a nursing student at the University at Albany's College of Integrated Health Sciences, receives her ceremonial white coat from UAlbany Director of Nursing Cassandra Marshall. The event marked the students' transition from classroom learning to hands-on clinical practice, the first step toward becoming registered nurses.
