ALBANY, N.Y. (March 5, 2024) — National Women’s History Month 2024 celebrates “Women Who Advocate for Equity, Diversity and Inclusion.” The theme recognizes women throughout the country who work to eliminate bias and discrimination from our lives and institutions.

International Women's Day is March 8, a global celebration of the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women. The day also marks a call to action for accelerating gender equity.  The International Women’s Day 2024 theme is #InspireInclusion, a campaign that aims to forge a more inclusive world for women.

From Shakespeare to play-doh, birth control to a feminist studies, events all month at UAlbany commemorate Women’s History Month and help the University community continue to inspire inclusion.
