ALBANY, N.Y. (Feb. 15, 2022) – A full month of virtual and in-person events will celebrate the University’s annual Gender and Sexuality Month, including presentations from authors, Zumba, educational talks and more.

This is the 40th year that UAlbany has hosted a series of events designed to support students facing concerns in the areas of gender and sexuality, HIV/AIDS, relationships, identity and sexual and reproductive health.

The month-long observance, running Feb. 14 – March 11, is headlined by craft talks hosted by the New York State Writers Institute with two well-known authors: Liara Roux and Rachel Gross. On Thursday, Feb. 24, there will be a craft talk with Roux at 4:30 p.m. followed by a Q&A session at 7:30 p.m, both in the first floor boardroom of Campus Center West. Gross will hold a craft talk at 4:30 p.m. followed by a Q&A session at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, March 10, in the D’Ambra Auditorium (in the Life Sciences Research Building).
