UAlbany Expands Study Abroad Opportunities in South Korea, Spain and France
The University at Albany is launching new and expanded opportunities next year for students to study abroad in South Korea, Spain and France. Students will also have new opportunities to earn dual degrees through Sungkyunkwan University (SKKU) in South Korea and Polytechnic University of Valencia (UPV) in Spain.

International Students at UAlbany on the RISE
More than 25 University at Albany students — many of whom are international students — will participate in the University's collaborative entrepreneurship program, Research and Innovators Startup Exchange (RISE), this fall.

UAlbany Summer: PhD Student Bringing Energy, Wastewater Research to Nigeria
Alfred Navokhi Apaji spent the summer working on wastewater treatment and energy production solutions that he can eventually take home to his small town of Wukari in Nigeria, where the lack of regular electricity, clean water and waste disposal leads to frequent illness and missed school.

Students Tackle Global Air Quality Challenges Through CNSE Summer Research Program
This summer, CNSE offered undergraduate and graduate students a 10-week opportunity to engage in international research on emerging air quality issues. This year’s group of students traveled to Montreal to collaborate with faculty and researchers at Concordia University and McGill University, gaining first-hand experience with using low-cost sensors and satellite remote sensing techniques.

UAlbany Establishes Dual Master's Degree program with Polytechnic University of Valencia
The University at Albany has signed a new agreement with Polytechnic University of Valencia in Spain to launch a dual master’s degree program in Electrical Engineering. The partnership between UAlbany’s College of Nanotechnology, Science, and Engineering and UPV’s Research Institute for Energy Engineering offers students from both institutions the opportunity to pursue a coordinated course of study and earn a degree from each university.
