Professional Interests: Mikhaela’s professional interests include adjustment issues, identity concerns, LGBTQ+ issues, acceptance-based approaches and sexual health.

Approach to Therapy: Mikhaela’s approach to therapy is rooted in the belief that a strong, trusting therapeutic relationship is the foundation for meaningful change. She aims to work collaboratively with clients, providing care that is responsive, attuned and informed by each person’s unique background and context. Mikhaela is passionate about social justice, advocacy and health promotion, and takes a human-centered approach that considers systems-level influences and integrates multicultural perspectives to meet clients where they are during their therapeutic journey. Her style incorporates cognitive-behavioral and acceptance-based principles to empower clients in clarifying their values, cultivating self-compassion and taking purposeful steps toward a life that feels authentic and meaningful.

Approach to Wellness: In her free time, Mikhaela enjoys all things spooky, going on walks with her Pitbull mix Teddy Bear and watching bad reality TV shows.
