Professional Interests

My professional interests are trauma and resilience, identity development, LGBTQIA+ affirming care and culturally responsive counseling. I enjoy working with students from diverse cultural, racial, ethnic and social backgrounds and strive to understand each student within the context of their whole identity and lived experiences.

Approach to Therapy

My approach to therapy is humanistic and holistic. I consider mental health as interconnected roles of physical, emotional, social, cultural and spiritual well-being. I strive to help students understand themselves as a whole person, recognize their strengths and help develop meaningful strategies for navigating challenges, building resilience and creating a sense of balance.

Approach to Wellness

My approach to wellness includes traveling to new places, engaging in new experiences, spending time with my loved ones and jamming out to some good tunes.
