Qualified undergraduates may apply for admission to the combined B.A. Psychology/M.S. in Mental Health Counseling program and, if accepted, simultaneously work toward completion of the requirements for both undergraduate and graduate degrees. Students apply to the master's programs during their junior year. These credits are applied to both the undergraduate and graduate programs. (Undergraduate credits may not be used to fulfill the psychology elective requirements, however.) Please note, applicants must have a GPA of 3.5 minimum to be eligible to apply (this is higher than the standard policy). Upon graduation with the Bachelor's degree, students begin full-time graduate work. Typically, students obtain the Bachelor's degree in May, begin the graduate program in June, and complete the Master's program in December of the following year.
See Combined Baccalaureate-Master's Degree Programs for details. Students are able to double count up to 12 graduate credits towards both the undergraduate and graduate degree requirements.
