Adult vaccination rates are very low in New York State. Providers are not always aware of the current adult immunization recommendations or strategies to improve adult immunization uptake. There is also a common concern among patients about efficacy which may impede a healthcare provider’s ability to implement the vaccination standards.
This webinar will provide education for healthcare personnel about adult immunization rates, the efficacy of adult vaccines, the Standards of Adult Immunization Practice, and how to implement these standards into practice.
Target Audience
Physicians, physician assistants, nurses, nurse practitioners, pharmacists and other medical providers who interact with and counsel adults regarding immunizations.
