Overview

Diabetes is a growing, serious and costly public health problem. The daily tasks and decisions required to manage diabetes can be overwhelming. Early and regular participation in diabetes education and support programs can help people with diabetes to stay healthy. This webcast will provide an overview of diabetes education and support programs in New York State and explain keys to increasing referral and participation.

Target Audience

Physicians, physician assistants, nurses, nurse practitioners, pharmacists, community health workers and certified public health workers.
