Who can participate in group exercise classes?
Undergraduate Students: You have full access to all group exercise classes.
Graduate Students: Please purchase a Campus Recreation Membership to participate in group exercise classes.
Faculty & Staff: Please purchase a Group Exercise Pass to participate in group exercise classes.

Follow Campus Recreation on Instagram for updates on class cancellations or location changes.
During the Academic Year, if the Campus Recreation fitness centers are closed, there will be no group exercise classes. (For example, when the fitness centers close at 4 p.m. on Friday before a break, there are also no classes after 4 p.m.)
Fall 2023 Final's Week Schedule
All classes are all held inside the Physical Education Building (PE Building) on the Uptown Campus. Download a campus map.
The Group Exercise Studio, the Spin Studio and the Martial Arts Room (MAT Room) are all located in the basement of the PE Building. The Dance Studio is located on the third floor.

Class Descriptions
Develop your mind and body in this defensive martial arts exercise class. Aikido’s natural movements promote a relaxed body, calm mind and powerful spirit. All fitness levels welcome.
Try Zumba with a Bollywood twist. This dance class uses traditional Bollywood music and moves to create a fun, energizing workout. No experience required.
Bring your muscles and get to lifting. This back-to-basics strength class is a total body workout. All fitness levels are welcome.
Move your body to upbeat, popular songs. Dancers of all levels are welcome. Come and have some fun!
Strengthen your dance technique and abilities while learning combinations in a range of styles including jazz, contemporary and hip hop. Dancers of all levels are encouraged to come join.
Wind down and (hopefully) de-stress with some calm yoga flow sequences. There will be a meditation at the end of each session. All are welcome!
A mixture of calming meditation and yoga to help reset after a week of stress.
A beginner low intensity workout involving core, arm, and leg movements. Used to improve flexibility, mobility and posture. Increases body awareness and tones and stretches muscles.
Strap in for a fun, exciting ride full of hills, springs and jumps. This non-impact class can help you reach your fitness goals. All fitness levels are welcome. Note: Each class is limited to 15 participants.
This recovery-focused class will improve muscle mobility and athletic performance.
