John Polk Talks Osteoporosis Prevention on WAMC's The Academic Minute

John Polk, associate professor of anthropology and biology and director of UAlbany's human biology program, was featured on WAMC's The Academic Minute as he discussed how to prevent osteoporosis on WAMC's The Academic Minute.

The Academic Minute features a two-and-a-half-minute segment each day, Monday through Friday, from professors at different colleges and universities around the world, keeping listeners abreast of what's new and exciting in higher education research. The program airs on 70 NPR-affiliated stations in the United States and Canada and is shared online via Inside Higher Education.
