Learn key skills to lead and manage a political campaign from the experts at the University at Albany’s Rockefeller College of Public Affairs and Policy. This intensive, experiential learning program focuses on the practical skills needed to manage and lead political campaigns.
A two-day simulation exercise provides learners with real-life experiences of working with the media, engaging with voters, creating effective messages, maximizing social media and digital potential, understanding video production, and more. Teams of learners will develop and present a campaign strategy as the capstone activity.
The program will be facilitated by Libby Post, a Rockefeller College alum and adjunct instructor with decades of experience managing political campaigns in New York State, and will include additional guest experts.
