Harriet Tubman Pop-Up Exhibit Commemorates 170th Anniversary of Her Escape

The Harriet Tubman Pop-Up Exhibit at the Albany Barn took place on November 22, 2019. The exhibit was a collaborative public engagement across University at Albany, Albany Law School, and RPI. Students in the course “Race, Rape Culture, and the Law” contribute a detailed timeline exploring Tubman’s life. The event commemorated the 170th anniversary of Tubman’s escape from slavery.
