Celebrating Women's History Month at UAlbany

The University at Albany is pleased to recognize Women’s History Month.  

National Women’s History Month 2025 celebrates "Moving Forward Together! Women Educating & Inspiring Generations". The theme celebrates women who have inspired generations through their leadership, mentorship and education.

International Women's Day

International Women's Day is March 8, a global celebration of the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women.  

The International Women’s Day 2025 theme is #AccelerateAction, a campaign that emphasizes the importance of taking swift and decisive steps to achieve gender equality.
