About CURCE

Who We Are

The Center for Undergraduate Research and Creative Engagement (CURCE) is a resource and support center for all undergraduate students interested in exploring research, scholarship, and creative activities that align with their academic interests, career goals, and passions.

Two students talking at the Undergraduate Research Forum. No matter the major or research area, CURCE is here to assist you in identifying research, scholarship, and creative activities across the University at Albany. We help you navigate the process of searching for research positions, assist in the application process for research positions, determine how you can get academic credit for research experiences, and develop skills that will benefit you as you add a unique experience to your time at the University at Albany.

  • Attend CURCE events, workshops, and programs that will give you the tools you need to successfully find, apply for, and navigate undergraduate research experiences.
  • Present your work at the Annual University at Albany Student Conference
  • Apply for funding through CURCE
