Some academic departments, schools and colleges at UAlbany offer tutoring specifically tailored for students enrolled in their courses. 
 

Atmospheric & Environmental Sciences 

The Department of Atmospheric & Environmental Sciences offers free appointment tutoring by request for undergraduate students while classes are in session.

To access Department of Atmospheric & Environmental Sciences tutoring, you must submit a Tutor Request Form. A graduate student who matches the course(s) you've requested help with will be assigned to you and will reach out to you within a few days.

Engineering & Applied Sciences (CEAS Learning Center)

The College of Engineering & Applied Sciences (CEAS) Learning Center offers free tutoring for many CEAS courses. The CEAS Learning Center offers both walk-in tutoring services, and tutoring via appointment using EAB/Navigate.

Walk-in Hours: 3 to 9 p.m. Monday through Thursday

Information Security & Digital Forensics

Teaching assistants (TAs) and peer educators are available for free, walk-in tutoring and open lab hours for specific courses during the fall and spring semesters.

Spring 2024: All Digital Forensics students, and all students enrolled in BFOR and/or BCYB courses, may attend any office hours and open lab hours to work on assignments, projects and other classwork with TAs and peer educators.

Mathematics & Statistics

The Department of Mathematics and Statistics offers free, walk-in tutoring during the fall and spring semesters. Spring 2024 hours will start January 24th.
