About
I graduated with a B.A. summa cum laude in Philosophy (Bioethics and Law and Philosophy minors) and Political Science in May 2022. Prof. Hessler's Environmental Ethics class was memorable. She's a master of slicing dense readings into bits of profound insight (and class hypos are fun!). I remember when she invited a controlled fire expert who worked just next to campus, talk about theory to practice! But far from being an outlier, like Prof. Hessler, all my professors were incredibly passionate and experts in their respective fields.
I will graduate with a Juris Doctor degree and Law and Religion Concentration certificate from Emory Law in May 2025. There, I served as Staff Member for the Journal of Law and Religion and represented clients in delinquency proceedings as a certified Student Attorney. I was recently honored with Emory Law's Center for the Study of Law and Religion Eliza Ellison Prize for Leadership in Law and Religion. Upon admission to practice, I will be working in the public interest sector.
UAlbany's Philosophy Department leaves you with analytical clarity and continental depth. If you are interested in big ideas and principled service to others, then Philosophy at UAlbany is the right place to start!
