 Request for Proposal

Overview

Funder is looking for action-oriented projects that draw lessons from international contexts to help the U.S. build a more equitable, inclusive, durable, and community-centered health knowledge system.

Examples of what RWJF wants to promote include:

  • Centering the lived experiences of people most impacted by inequities in evidence, data, and policy.
  • Recognizing health as holistic (healing, culture, community wellbeing).
  • Countering misinformation and rebuilding trust in science.
  • Combining Indigenous, traditional, biomedical, ecological, and community‑based knowledge.
  • Creating global learning networks, including collaborations among researchers, artists, community groups, and civil society.
