The Foundation supports programs that meet the unmet healthcare and related needs of individuals, families, and communities throughout New York State. Letters of inquiry are being accepted within five programs:

Healthcare Workforce
Pipeline and Recruitment
Education
Mental and Behavioral Health
Interventions and Treatment

Education, Awareness, and Prevention
General Fund & Eight Populations
Immigrants - cultural competency, community integration, access to legal services
Veterans - mental health, transition to civilian life, benefits coordination, basic needs support, education, employment and legal services
Justice-Involved Individuals - wrap-around social services, safe and adequate housing, workforce development and/or higher education, mental health and/or substance use treatment
Young Children, Pregnant Women, and New Moms and Dads - maternal health, healthy development of young children, early learning
Low-income Individuals and Families - health equity, wrap-around services, community health initiatives, food access mental and behavioral health and substance use disorders, basic needs
Youth and Young Adults - community-based mental and behavioral health services, education attainment, job skills development, and social emotional learning
Older Adults - independence, wellness, ability to age in place, access to quality healthcare
People with Disabilities - independence and community integration, access to healthcare services.
Process
This is a two-step application process. The Letter of Intent (LOI/step 1) is managed by the Office of Corporate and Foundation Relations. If you would like to apply, email [email protected] for more details and an LOI worksheet NO LATER THAN MARCH 27. Submit the completed LOI worksheet to OCFR by April 15.
If invited to submit a full proposal (step 2), it will be managed by the Sponsored Programs Administration (SPA).
