Join UAlbany's Center for the Elimination of Health Disparities on Saturday, May 23 from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. for a community event examining the health and well-being of individuals returning to their communities after incarceration. Our speakers will discuss how reentry is inseparable from public health, racial equity, and community resilience. Lunch and refreshments will be provided.

Justin Clayton joined CBS6 to talk about the Center for the Elimination of Health Disparities' event "Returning Home: Health and Wellness After Incarceration", which connected formerly incarcerated individuals with resources to help them after release.

Clinical Psychology PhD student Jason Choi studies the effects of social media on mental health as a research Fellow at UAlbany’s Center for the Elimination of Health Disparities.

Publishing in the American Journal of Human Biology, UAlbany scientists Lawrence M. Schell and Mia V. Gallo outline why measuring pollutant exposure should be a central component of research on growth, development, reproduction and chronic disease.
