Overview
Funder seeks to support evidence-based projects and is looking for ones that address emerging health care and public health challenges affecting New Yorkers, especially people of color and others who have been historically marginalized..
The fund is intended for projects that fall outside of NY Health Foundation’s three regular focus areas (Primary Care, Healthy Food, Healthy Lives, and Veterans’ Health).
They want to see projects that have the potential for replication, scaling, or broader policy and systems change.

Full Proposal Invitation/LOI Declination Notification: December 2026
Full Proposal Due Date (invited applicants only): January 25, 2027 at 1:00 p.m.
Award/Declination Notification: June 2027
If you are considering an application in which you are the Principal Investigator, please ensure you meet PI eligibility requirements.
Process
This is a two-step application process.
The Letter of Intent (LOI/step 1) is managed by the Office of Corporate and Foundation Relations.
